Clare is dedicated to excellence both personally and professionally, which fuels the meticulous service she and her employees at Compass Electrical Solutions provide. She is dedicated to continuing company growth, ensuring her employees have the opportunity to grow as well.
She was accepted as an Unindentured Apprentice in 2006, doing field training for six months before beginning her work in the classroom. Clare completed her IBEW JATC Apprenticeship in 2012. For the duration of her five-year apprenticeship, she worked for one of the largest electrical contractors in Dayton.
In the first year of her apprenticeship, due to her CAT-5 data-cabling experience, she was subcontracted to Jacob’s Telephone Contractors, a low voltage company where she worked with data systems and telephone lines.
While working as an apprentice, Clare worked in various additional roles and projects. She worked at the Appleton Paper Mill aiding in the upgrading of machinery. Rairden also completed a short-term project at Wright Patterson Air Force Base where she ran conduit in one of the largest hangars. She continued to provide electrical support for the functioning of the 711th Human Performance Wing Project (HPW), a long term analysis project on base.
Her largest project and investment to date is Miami Valley Hospital where she provided a variety of services including upgrading the nurse call system, camera security system, access control and more. Clare G. Rairden is well-rounded in her industrial, institutional, and commercial experience.
As for the company itself, Clare became sole owner of the Compass Electrical Solutions in 2012, and she acquired her State of Ohio Electrical Contractors License in June 2019.
Guided by her leadership, Compass is recognized as a Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB),that is WBE Certified, NWBOC Certified that services Southwest Ohio.
Melissa began her career in 1997 as an Apprentice in the IBEW JATC. She continued to grow and now works as a Journeyman Wireman for Compass. She is totally awesome!
